Katie has played with the Lady Osprey since she was 11 years old. She has been a contributing defensive player at first base, outfield and pitcher. She has been selected as team MVP and received the Team Player award. She is consistently at the top in offensive and defensive statistical categories and is dedicated to improving her skills. She was a productive member of the Lady Osprey state championship team and 3rd place showing at Western Regionals.

High School

Katie will be starting her senior year at Sentinel High School. Katie is a multiple sport athlete at Sentinel and participates in Basketball (two year letter winner), Volleyball and Softball. As a freshman, Katie was the starting varsity pitcher. Katie is an all conference selection in 2008 (freshman - pitcher) and 2009 (sophomore - first base). In 2010 Katie was selected to the All State team and 1st team all conference.

Personal

Katie enjoys watching baseball, playing ping pong, and being outdoors. She also enjoys watching sports movies. Her favorites are Coach Carter, A League of Their Own, and The Sandlot.

Her career goals are leading towards a position in the medical field, possibly as a physical therapist.
